Given the current state in France and around the globe with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, combined with significant uncertainties that lie ahead (e.g. various response measures to rapid evolving virus or global travel restrictions...), the organizing committee, together with the Director of LETG-Rennes, the Dean of the Social Sciences faculty of the University of Rennes 2 as well as the AIC President and administrative board, informs you that the 33rd AIC conference has been cancelled. However, after discussion with the AIC administrative board, the organizing committee informs you that the Rennes2020 Proceedings will be edited. Furthermore, in agreement with the editor of “Climatologie”, a special issue of “Climatologie” on "Climate change and territories" is planned for 2021. Despite the great disappointment not to welcome you in Brittany, we sincerely hope to do our best to adapt to this exceptional situation by valuing everyone's work (authors, members of the scientific committee and members of the AIC administrative board) while ensuring everyone's health security.
